Our Journey
About Me
Hi, I’m Julia ☀
Welcome to my world of Amber.
My motto is simple:
Love nature.
Believe in energy.
Live in harmony.
I have always felt deeply connected to the natural world, and Baltic amber has become a truly special part of my life. I still get excited by every new piece — every shape, every colour, every natural imperfection. Each creation feels like a small discovery. Amber is often called the Stone of the Sun, and for me, it truly lives up to that name.
Baltic amber is a magical material to work with. Every piece is unique and carries an incredible history — formed at least 28 million years ago, during the Tertiary period. When I hold amber in my hands, I feel its warmth, its energy, and its timeless connection to nature.
I aim to preserve the natural beauty of amber, using simple, traditional techniques such as cutting, shaping, and polishing. My collection includes jewellery, ornaments, accessories, and more. I love experimenting with new ideas while respecting the stone’s natural character. My goal is to create stand-out designs that make people smile, feel the warmth of amber, and bring a little sunshine and positive energy into everyday life.
What Is Amber?
Amber is ancient tree resin, transformed by nature over millions of years.
Most of the world’s amber is between 30 and 90 million years old. Unlike stone, amber is never cold to the touch and is surprisingly light — another reminder that it is something truly special.
“Amber is like a time capsule, made and placed in the earth by nature itself.”
— J. Sreda
Amber Through History
Amber has held a powerful place throughout human history:
The Vikings traded amber as a precious material — often more valuable than gold. Their amber pieces were engraved with symbols believed to offer protection, guidance, and good luck.
The Romans and Greeks believed amber possessed magical powers because of its electrostatic energy.
Hippocrates (460–377 BC), the father of medicine, wrote about amber’s healing properties and its medicinal uses.
Today, amber powder is still used in natural cosmetics, aromatherapy, and holistic medicine.
My Adventures
My love for amber has taken me on unforgettable journeys.
I’ve visited extraordinary archaeological sites in Patagonia, where I explored ancient dinosaur tracks and learned about Ruben D. Carolini and his discovery of Giganotosaurus.
I was also fortunate to spend time at the Wanda mines, near Brazil, surrounded by semi-precious stones — an experience that deepened my appreciation for nature’s creativity and power.
✨ Thank you for being part of my amber journey.
